ADMINISTRATION SHALL BE AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:

Delete 2-12.1 Department of Police in its entirety.

Add new 2-12.1 Department of Police Amending the table of Organization of the Police Department to consist of (1) Chief; (3) Captains; (6) Lieutenants; (17) Sergeants; and (84) Patrol Officers.

Tax Requesting the refund of the premium paid at the 2013 tax sale on the Sale following blocks & lots.

Therefore, it would be in order for the council to authorize the treasurer to issue a check in the amount of $13,300.00 payable to: DBW TL Holdco 2013 US Bank C/O DBW TL Holdco 2013 LLC, 50 South 16th Street, Suite 1950-TOW, Philadelphia, PA 19102, charging same to account #-3Tax Court Block 549 Lot 5- Renewable Construction, LLC Judgment Tax Court Docket #-012660-2011 The above referenced property owners filed a Tax Court of New Jersey judgment reducing the assessment by 16,700 for the tax year 2011, and per tax appeal law this needs to be applied to delinquent taxes for 2013, delinquent interest and delinquent penalties.

Therefore, it would be in order for the council to authorize the treasurer to issue a check in the amount of $923.51, payable to: City of Linden, Tax Collector, 301 N. Wood Avenue, Linden, NJ 07036, charging same to account #3-01-55-275-999-000.

Tax Court Block 208 Lot 5 - Second Avenue Associates, LLC Judgment 717 Washington Avenue The above referenced property owners are entitled to a refund due to a Tax Court of New Jersey judgment reducing the assessment by 100,000 for the tax year 2011.





Therefore, it would be in order for the council to authorize the treasurer to issue a check in the amount of $5,530.00 payable to: Second Avenue Associates, LLC & Daniel G. Keough Trustee, 783 Springfield Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901, charging same to account #3-01-55-275-999-000.

(8) We are pleased to report that the Union County Community Development Revenue Sharing Committee, at its meeting of May 15, 2013, approved

the following City sponsored projects for 2013-2014:

This represents a $12,000 or 2.7% reduction from last year’s funding level. The county’s grant was reduced this year by $259,057. This calculates to a 5.3% reduction. The Linden Interfaith Network for Community Services (LINCS) was also approved for $4,400 for their food pantry. A complete list of the approved County Projects is available in the Engineering Department.

(***) (9) Advising that DTT Custom Auto Body, of Roselle, NJ will be hosting a Car Show at Linden Airport on Sunday, July 21, 2013 between the hours of 9am and 5pm. The rain date for the event will be Sunday, July 28, 2013.

2013-263 Resolution authorizing the execution of a Professional Services Agreement with CME Associates for an underground storage tank investigation at the John Street Multi-Purpose Center, at a fee not to exceed $17,500.00.

2013-264 Resolution authorizing the execution of a Parking Agreement with Meridia Lifestyles Urban Renewal Linden LLC (The “Redeveloper”) for the South Wood Avenue Redevelopment Project.

2013-265 Resolution authorizing the award of a contract to ACS Firehouse Software for a 10 User FHWEB System for the Linden Fire Department. The anticipated term of the contract is for one year, for software at the rate of $55,737.00.

2013-266 Resolution requesting the installation of a Bus Shelter at St.

Georges Avenue, northbound at John Street, far side.

2013-267 Resolution authorizing an award of a Contract with Micro Strategies, Inc., for a Nice Voice Recorder Service plus maintenance agreement for the Police Department for a one year term, at the rate of $3,483.00.

2013-268 Resolution authorizing an agreement to modify an Interlocal Services Agreement for the purpose of inserting a description of activities for the Fiscal Year 2013-2014, Union County Community Development Block Grant Program.

2013-269 Resolution approving a Shared Services Agreement with the County of Union for printing and signage services.

2013-270 Resolution establishing the Sanitary Landfill Utility Operating Budget for the period of January 1, 2013 through August 31, 2013 in a sum not to exceed $261,933.33.

2013-274 Resolution approving the award of a contract to Crafco, Inc., for the purchase of one (1) new 125 gallon Hot Tar Melter for the Linden Public Works Department at their total bid of $39,777.16.

2013-275 Resolution approving the award of a contract to Jet-Vac, Inc., for the purchase of one (1) new sewer inspection unit for the Public Works Department at their total bid of $198,761.00.

2013-278 Resolution authorizing the sale and issuance of Bond Anticipation Notes of the City of Linden in an amount not to exceed $1,000,000.00.

2013-279 Resolution authorizing an amendment to the agreement appointing McManimon & Scotland as Special Redevelopment Counsel to represent the City in the various redevelopment matters pending in the City of Linden. Due to the ongoing nature of the services, there is a need for additional funds not to exceed $10,000.00.
